New hires will be placed at the minimum salary of the classification or applicable range.

Special RequirementsApplicants must disclose felony status if working with inmates or at conservation camps, per California Penal Code 4571. Compliance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) is required, including a Live Scan.
TAU appointments are temporary and limited to 9 months in 12 months, with eligibility to take the next exam for permanent status.
