Overview
Benefit Program Technician – State of Missouri, Family Support Division (FSD). The position is located at the Platte City Resource Center, 233 Marshall Road, Platte City, MO. The role supports Missouri citizens in obtaining food, medical, financial and nutritional assistance to promote safe, healthy, and productive lives.
Responsibilities- Determine initial and continuing eligibility of Missouri citizens for benefit services.
- Interview clients in person and by telephone.
- Prepare case summaries and related documentation.
- Assist clients in navigating assistance programs.
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- OR four (4) years of experience in a role requiring extensive customer interaction, including managing business or employee financial records, sales, marketing, or direct consumer/public contact, and possession of a high school diploma or GED.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
