Salary is commensurate with base, locality, and availability pay. Agents receive locality pay for the Washington, D.C. area plus availability pay equal to 25% of the base and locality pay.

• Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety.
• Exercise judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility in meeting investigative demands.
• Create and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law‑enforcement agencies.
• Maintain a level of physical fitness to ensure readiness for law‑enforcement duties.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
• Must be a current federal law‑enforcement officer (occupational series 1811).
• Must have at least two years full‑time, consecutive federal 1811 law‑enforcement work experience.
• Must pass an FBI pistol qualification on an FBI‑issued firearm prior to attending ASAT.
• Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.
• Must be willing to travel as required.

• Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university. All degrees must be verified by submitting college transcripts.
