Job Description And Duties

Under the general direction of the Headquarters Office Chief for Airspace, the Senior Right of Way Agent (SRWA) in the Airspace and Wireless Leasing function acts as a Region/District Liaison who will provide guidance and assistance to Regions/Districts on functional issues with potential statewide impacts. The SRWA participates in the policy development and management of the Department's Airspace and Wireless Leasing activities, including researching statutory requirements, tracking resources, collecting, analyzing, and communicating data.

The SRWA should possess excellent analytical, collaborative, and performance management skills and must be able to work well under tight deadlines.

Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Senior Right of Way Agent exam. For those who do not have current eligibility (e.g., transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotions) and/or who will be new to state civil services employment, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions.
