Lead Position Control Analyst – Analyst II

$6,031.00 – $7,547.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range.

12‑Month Limited Term – Full Time (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday)

Eligible to telework up to three (3) days a week. Must reside in California.

Under the supervision of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II performs program and policy analysis and develops, implements, reviews, and maintains complex position‑control functions, retention policies, processes, and procedures. Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in accordance with State Controller's Office, California Department of Human Resources, State Personnel Board and other relevant control agencies.

• Experience with State Controller legacy systems (payroll, benefits).
• Strong organizational, research, problem‑solving skills.
• Good judgment and effective communication.
