$6,031.00 – $7,547.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range.
Job Type12‑Month Limited Term – Full Time (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday)
TeleworkEligible to telework up to three (3) days a week. Must reside in California.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II performs program and policy analysis and develops, implements, reviews, and maintains complex position‑control functions, retention policies, processes, and procedures. Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in accordance with State Controller's Office, California Department of Human Resources, State Personnel Board and other relevant control agencies.
Minimum RequirementsSee Class Specification (ANALYST II). Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications detailed in the specification.
Desirable Qualifications- Experience with State Controller legacy systems (payroll, benefits).
- Strong organizational, research, problem‑solving skills.
- Good judgment and effective communication.
