** Job Description
** Saint Luke’s Primary Care Clinic in Platte City is seeking a Medical Office Specialist to join our team. You will work to ensure patient confidentiality in all instances, while maintaining a pleasant and professional appearance and conduct.

Shift Details:
Full Time Day
** Responsibilities:
*** Answers the telephone
* Communicates messages through email or Epic
* Greets, registers, and schedules patient appointments
* Collects patient copayments
* Makes appointment reminder calls
* Verifies insurance and other patient data is accurate
* Scans and/or uploads patient information to patients electronic chart

We are seeking individuals who are able to provide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office including: medical records, scheduling, insurance verification, patient referrals, etc. and the ability to float between multiple locations as assigned.
