This advertisement is for a OPTOMETRIST, CF position located at SOLANO STATE PRISON in VACAVILLE, CA in SOLANO COUNTY

• Conduct eye examinations using observation and instruments to determine visual acuity, perception, focus and coordination.
• Diagnose diseases and other abnormalities for the patient.
• Maintain order, supervise the conduct of inmates and protect and maintain the safety of persons and property.
• This part‑time position will work 36 hours per week. The monthly salary range for this position is $6,964-$9,287.

• Possession of a valid license to practice optometry in the State of California.
• Two years of experience in the practice of optometry.
• Pass the Optometrist, Correctional Facility examination bulletin.
