Physical Therapist; PT or Physical Therapist Assistant; PTA

Position: Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location: Monterey, CA 93940

Job Type: Contract: 13 weeks with possible extension

Schedule: 36 hours weekly

The Physical Therapist evaluates and assesses patients to determine mobility levels, physical conditions, and functional abilities. This role involves planning and developing individual and group exercise programs for maintenance therapy, providing a comprehensive physical therapy program, and ensuring high standards of patient care.

• Collect and document patient data, identify problems, and set priorities
• Develop care plans with measurable goals and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Provide and document prescribed treatments, ensuring adherence to standards
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation needs and interventions
• Supervise aides and staff, ensuring cost-effective rehabilitation practice
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning
• Effective teamwork and communication with the team
• Other duties as assigned

• Must be a Licensed Physical Therapist in California
• 1-year of Physical Therapy experience
• Reliable transportation, valid driver s license, and required auto insurance
