Housekeeping​/Laundry Assistant

Position Overview

Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant at Adams Place, NHC Osage Beach Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, located in Osage Beach, MO.

Full Time or Part Time. Shift: 3 pm‑11 pm, every other weekend. 3‑8 hours per day, standing, lifting heavy objects, use of standard cleaning chemicals.

• Cleaning patient bathrooms
• Emptying garbage cans
• Cleaning patient rooms, hallways, walls, furniture and equipment
• Following established cleaning schedules
• Loading washers
• Gathering dirty laundry
• Folding/storing laundry
• Operating washing machines & dryers according to manufacturer’s and center’s policy
• Other duties as assigned

• Is comfortable communicating with residents
• Takes pride in providing the cleanest environment for residents
• Enjoys being a part of a team
• Shifts 3 pm‑11 pm, every other weekend

• Must be able to read and understand Standard English
• Must be flexible, be a team player, and have a positive attitude
