• Assist with initial assessment on each patient upon receiving direction from O.T.R./L. and according to departmental policies
• Document course of patient care including progress notes and continuing need for treatment per departmental policy
• Administer appropriate modalities, exercise regimes, or treatment procedures per departmental policies and standards of treatment care
• Maintain progress notes and departmental records on each patient per documentation and charges policies
• Participate in promoting education within the department
• Demonstrate knowledge of special needs and behaviors of specific age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric
• Perform miscellaneous job duties observed as directed by the Inpatient Physical Medicine Supervisor

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current license for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or eligible for licensure in state of practice
• One year experience preferred; will consider new graduates
• BLS certified; required certifications must be current before assigned to care patients independently
