We are looking for energetic, team‑oriented and self‑directed nursing staff for a short‑term assignment close to home. The assignment lasts 18 weeks with competitive rates, offering the opportunity to transition into a daily option/PRN after completion.
The facility provides the following nurse‑to‑patient ratios:
- 5:1 and 6:1 on Medical Surgical units
- 3:1 on Step‑Down units
- 2:1 on Critical Care units
The assignment starts with a general orientation in our Career Institute, followed by a unit‑specific individualized program with a preceptor. Graduates must be from an accredited school of nursing, ACLS preferred, and hold current or eligible licensure in Louisiana.
