Our Team of Postdoctoral Fellows and Testing Psychologists specializing in Child & Adolescent Psycho-educational and Neuropsychological Evaluations.

We are seeking Postdoctoral Fellows (PhD/PsyD) who want to specialize in psycho educational and neuropsychological evaluations with children, adolescents, parents, and families. Positions range from 25-40 hours per week, and usually begin in the fall. (Mid-year applicants may be considered on a case-by-case basis). Length of fellowship is flexible (usually between 1-2 years), depending on your training needs and the fit of the practice.
As a Postdoctoral Fellow at Mind Matters, you will:
Partner with parents to help them understand their child, creating a roadmap that leads to family harmony, mental well-being, and academic success.
Empower parents to advocate for their child. You’ll support teens and young adults in advocating for themselves.
Collaborate with public and private schools to support learners’ unique needs

Our Licensed Clinicians meet twice a month to discuss cases, learn about testing-related topics, and hear from allied professionals about their areas of expertise. Postdoctoral Fellows join in these meetings, alongside additional training opportunities.

Prior experience and training in assessing attention, learning and social-emotional challenges is required, though we do offer training and mentorship to help you expand your interview, testing and report writing skills.
This position is ideal for not-yet-licensed Psychologists who want to work in a private practice setting, with the support and mentorship of seasoned Testing Psychologists.
As a Registered Associate Postdoctoral Fellow at Mind Matters, you will gain ample experience in the following areas:
Supporting families through the 504/IEP process
Collaboration with (and perspective from) allied professionals
Additional opportunities include:
Developmental assessments for preschool aged children
Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE’s)
Intention of becoming a Licensed Psychologist
Doctoral degree (PsyD or PhD) in Clinical, School or Educational Psychology or related field from an APA Accredited Program
Knowledge and clinical experience (ideally at the pre or postdoctoral internship level) providing
psycho educational, developmental and/or neuropsychological evaluations
for children, teens, and/or adults
with developmental, learning, attention, social-cognitive, and emotional issues
Knowledge of current assessment measures and practices
Experience working in or consulting to elementary, middle and/or high schools
Bilingual language skills are a plus
This is a W-2 position, and you will receive competitive pay on a per project (case) basis, in addition to an hourly rate for administrative and training time.
