Transportation Coordinator for Macon Health Care Center

Macon Health Care Center is looking for a Transportation Coordinator to join our team! This fun job will give you the opportunity to meet interesting people and work with a group of dedicated to brightening the days of our passengers! You will be setting up appointments, scheduling appointments, transporting residents to appointments, and other duties while maintaining strict client confidentiality.

• Must have valid State Driver's License
• Must be able to pass a Chauffeur's license test and pass a background check
• Must be CPR/AED Certified ( We can help you get this)
• Must own a smart phone
• Must not have a physical impairment preventing the candidate from driving safely, or from performing the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations
• Must be able to read, write, and converse in English
• Must be able to use a GPS/ Technology System, read, and understand road maps
• Must be able to lift and/or pull up to 50 pounds and the capability to assist passengers into and out of the vehicle; including pushing a loaded wheelchair up and down a ramp/ lift ,in to , or out of the vehicle
• Must be able to climb in and out of the vehicle
• Must be able to bend and reach to properly secure wheelchairs or stretchers inside the vehicle
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time depending on duration of transportation
