The Family Support Division seeks applications for Benefit Program Technicians. These positions will be located in the Cedar County/Stockton SWL Resource Center at 112 RB Road, Stockton, MO. All internal promotional applicants are encouraged to apply.

As a Benefit Program Technician ($38,887.92
, $1,620.33 semi-monthly*), you will help Missouri citizens receive food, medical, financial, and nutritional assistance so they can live safe, healthy, and productive lives.

• Determine initial and continuing eligibility of Missouri citizens for these services.
• Interview clients in person and by telephone.
• Prepare summaries and perform other duties as required.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• OR:
  Four or more years of experience in areas requiring extensive customer interaction, e.g., managing business or employee financial records, sales, marketing, management, direct public contact, or customer service functions, plus possession of a high school diploma or GED certificate. (Qualifying experience may substitute year-for-year for deficiencies in required education.)
• Individual(s) selected may receive a higher rate based on a pay differential (shift, time-of-service pay).
• Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as sole basis for denying consideration to any applicant.
