Ambulance Operator (AO)-Paramedics

Provide basic and advanced medical care to patients, transport patients in emergency medical situations, and respond to emergency medical aid calls.

• 56-hour workweeks with built‑in overtime
• Hiring bonus up to $2,000
• Pay boost of $1.75 per hour above base rate with Modified Benefits Option
• Bilingual compensation available – $50 per pay period

• Annual salary $71,518.72 to $84,963.84 including built‑in overtime pay

Health and Physical Condition:
Must meet the safety, health, and physical condition standards required for performance of duties.

Travel:
May be required within and outside San Bernardino County.

Pre‑Employment Process:
Fingerprinting, background checks, drug test, medical examination, and other standard pre‑employment requirements.

Dress Code:
Must adhere to the County Fire and Special Districts Dress Code; visible tattoos are prohibited.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to carry equipment and patients under high‑stress situations and work in varied environmental conditions.
