Health Information Department is seeking an Inpatient Coder at WK Pierremont in Shreveport, LA. Full‑time day position (8:00 AM—4:30 PM). Posted 01/08/2026.
Responsibilities- Code inpatient charts using ICD‑10‑CM and CPT coding rules and guidelines.
- Apply understanding of MS‑DRG’s during coding.
- Attend orientation session before beginning work.
- RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCA, CPC, or CPC‑H credential required.
- Completion of a medical terminology course.
- Preferred: 1 year experience in a Health Information Department.
