An exciting contract opportunity awaits a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or a skilled paraprofessional ready to make a positive impact in an autism classroom. Located near Lees Summit, MO, this role is based within a dedicated elementary school environment, supporting students with autism from now until May 28th. Work closely with a dynamic educational team, contribute to individualized behavior plans, and provide one-on-one support that truly makes a difference.

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician certification required
• Prior experience in schools and/or behavioral settings
• Ability to work with elementary-aged students in an autism classroom
• Willingness to complete fingerprinting specific to district requirements (candidate is responsible for associated cost)
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in assignments or schedules during the school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct behavioral intervention services under supervision as needed
• Implement evidence-based strategies and follow students individualized education plans
• Collect and record data on student progress and behavioral outcomes
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and district BCBA as required
• Maintain a supportive, respectful, and engaging classroom atmosphere
• Communicate effectively with staff and families regarding student needs
• Participate in trainings and professional meetings as scheduled
