Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant (MA) provides clinical support under the supervision of a licensed provider, performing duties such as preparing exam rooms, obtaining vital signs, patient history, and maintaining accurate records. They execute clinical skills including phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and injections. The role involves triaging calls, delivering test results, and presenting relevant information to providers.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certification/Registration in area of expertise
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience and CPR certification
• Ability to perform clinical procedures accurately and efficiently

• Maintain exam room readiness with supplies and cleanliness
• Collect patient data and perform clinical procedures
• Assist in patient triage and communication of test results

Additional Information:
The role offers exposure to diverse medical fields from pediatrics to adult care in a primary care setting. Candidates should be familiar with Epic and have at least five years of relevant experience. The position emphasizes delivering quality patient care and adherence to practice protocols.
