* Proficiency in Stress Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, and IV Contrast is preferred, though training is available.

** Overview
* *** Job Summary for Echo vascular Ultrasound
** Performs adult transthoracic echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, stress echo exams and vascular ultrasound exams. Procedures include but are not limited to carotid Doppler, ABI/arterial Doppler, venous Doppler (DVT and venous Reflux).
** Job Responsibilities for Echo vascular Ultrasound
*** Performs cardiovascular ultrasound imaging examinations.
* Performs studies independently in both in-patient and outpatient setting as well as procedural areas such as the Cardiac Cath Lab and Operating room.
* Maintains equipment and supplies.
* Ensures proper documentation of procedures.
* Collaborates with reading physicians and medical staff for diagnosis.
* Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
** Minimum Qualifications
**
* Education:

High School Diploma or GED & Enrollment in an accredited Sonography Program

* Experience:

* Supervisor

* Required License/Certification:
None Required
* BLS required within first 30 day of employment
** Preferred Qualifications

* Education:

Associate Degree – Sonography

* Experience:

< 2 Years’ Experience

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation License/Certification
* Required License/Certification: RDCS License/Certification
