Ever Active is looking for a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Michigan Veteran's Home
- Chesterfield! This is a great opportunity for an SLP looking for a part-time schedule while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our veterans.
- Approximately 6-8 hours per day
- Consistent weekday schedule with flexibility to coordinate the specific days
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on their needs and goals.
- Provide speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy as appropriate.
- Help residents improve communication, cognitive function, swallowing safety, and overall quality of life.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress in accordance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies to support continued progress.
- Current Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license.
