Food & Beverage Supervisor

Overview

The Food & Beverage Supervisor you play a pivotal and hands‑on role in the daily functioning of the food and beverage department. This position demands a detail‑oriented individual with exceptional organizational and communication skills. Your primary responsibility is to directly supervise the service staff, ensuring they consistently deliver efficient and friendly service to customers.

Coaching and training staff, coordinating scheduling and shift changes, overseeing training and performance management. You will be actively involved in opening and closing MOD (Manager on Duty) duties, including tasks such as opening and closing registers for employees, counting register drawers and managing daily deposits. Assigning duties to employees, ensuring smooth F&B operations, and training new staff members are also integral aspects of your role.

You will actively engage with customers, addressing concerns, gathering feedback, and contributing to an enhanced dining experience. Communication with management, taking customer orders, assisting employees on the floor as needed, and collaborating with other supervisors for smooth shift transitions are part of your daily routine.

• Associate degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience (3+ years) in the food and beverage industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
• Knowledge of service standards, food safety, and hygiene practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic understanding of financial aspects, such as cash handling and basic accounting.
• Food Safety Certification (e.g. Ser Safe).
