Discovery Capital is hiring a full time Front Desk Specialists for the Towne Place Suites by Marriott, one of Columbia’s top-rated hotels near the airport. This is your opportunity to join a professional hospitality team that takes pride in delivering top-tier guest experiences.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly, manage check-ins and check-outs
• Handle phone and online reservations professionally and efficiently
• Provide information on room availability, rates, hotel amenities, and local attractions
• Register guests, verify payment methods, and update guest records
• Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism and care
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure guest rooms are clean and ready
• Process group bookings and assist VIP/event guests as needed
• Promote and upsell additional hotel services when appropriate
• Keep accurate logs of bookings, payments, and guest interactions
• Support other hotel operations as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Schedule; ability to work Thursday and Friday from 7am to 3pm
• 6 months to 1 year of front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Friendly, professional demeanor and a genuine passion for hospitality
• Ability to work flexible shifts,including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Dependable and punctual with great attention to detail
• Team player mindset and eagerness to learn
