Purpose: Under the general direction of the Associate Vice President of Community and Belonging, the Title IX Coordinator and DHR Prevention Administrator provides leadership for the Office of Discrimination, Harassment & Retaliation Prevention and Title IX Administration. The Administrator develops, implements, monitors, and coordinates the campus’ response to individuals experiencing distress, and ensures compliance with Title IX, VAWA, and CSU policies prohibiting discrimination, harassment and retaliation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the University’s Title IX Coordinator and DHR Prevention Administrator, overseeing investigations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and sexual violence; meet with complainants to determine interim steps; develop and oversee educational programs and training materials; assess campus activities to ensure compliance; prepare annual statistical reports; monitor campus implementation of Title IX and DHR compliance; participate in the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT).
  • Oversee investigations of complaints, conduct fact-finding, interview parties and witnesses, assess credibility, prepare written reports, determine interim remedies, and make recommendations for action; coordinate with outside investigators when appropriate.
  • Coordinate conflict resolution with Human Resources, Ombuds, Academic/Student Affairs, and other offices; maintain confidentiality and provide information as appropriate.
  • Coordinate and monitor Title IX efforts among delegates and university offices; implement campus policies related to responsibilities.
  • Develop and provide education, training, and outreach programs on prevention and reporting of sexual violence and harassment; ensure AB 1825 compliance; monitor Clery Act implementation.
