About

The Role
  • The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting many aspects of our internal needs and creating better workflow and efficiencies. You will interact with external and internal customers (Centricity colleagues) by positively impacting our business, ensuring Centricity services are developed, monitored and delivered in a professional ‘Can Do’ manner. Temporary assignment is anticipated January 2026 – June 2026.
What You’ll Do
  • Work closely with HR, Benefit, and Payroll Team members
    • Assist HR Generalists and Specialists with HR compliance projects (e.g. HR audits, employee file set up and management, labor law postings, etc.)
    • Leave of absence administration, including coordination of pay and benefits throughout the leave. Assist clients with resolution of employee issues pertaining to leaves of absence, workers’ compensation, and disability accommodations.
    • Respond to and provide supporting documentation to government agencies notices of claims and benefit audits, based on regulated time frames.
    • Respond to employee/client service queries as needed
    • Assist with other internal office administrative tasks relating to ACA filings, EEO, ERISA mandates, W-2s, leaves of absence, etc.
    • Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required, assigned, and directed.
  • Administer Centricity HRIS (Rippling) support and maintenance, including
    • Collaborate with HR Generalists and Specialists to configure onboarding, offboarding, and other personnel change workflows in Rippling
    • Manage New Hire background screening, as applicable
    • Manage New Hire E-Verify screening process, as applicable
    • Troubleshoot and remedy personnel change issues as needed
    • Coordinate terminated employees’ Offboarding efforts with Centricity Benefits & Payroll teams
Qualifications
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including Excel & Word; experience with HRIS and benefits databases.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
  • Capability of effective planning and priority setting.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or one to three years of related HR or administrative experience preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, fax machines, and telephones.
  • Position is remote but may include travel to/from Walnut Creek, CA office during initial orientation/training period. No additional travel will be required.

The Pay Range For This Role Is 60,320 - 78,000 USD per year(hq)
