We are looking for a Director of Human Resources to oversee all aspects of human resources and payroll practices and processes. The Director of Human Resources is the go‑to person for all employee‑related issues. This means that your duties will involve managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development and talent management. The Director of Human Resources is important to business success.

Essential Functions
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to define and implement the organization’s long‑term mission and goals; identifies ways to support this mission through talent management.
  • Identifies key performance indicators for the organization’s human resource and talent management functions.
  • Researches, develops, and implements competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.
  • Provides guidance and leadership to the human resource management team; assists with resolution of human resource, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues.
  • Maintains knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management. Reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non‑mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include leadership training, safety training, anti‑harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition, and morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
  • Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Participates in professional development and networking conferences and events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
