As a People Partner in Transportation, you will lead key human resources functions within a fast-paced distribution environment, ensuring associates are supported, developed, and empowered to succeed. This role offers the opportunity to influence business outcomes through talent, compliance, culture, and operational excellence.

• Lead HR operations, including staffing, onboarding, associate relations, benefits, payroll, and employment lifecycle processes.
• Partner with facility leadership to execute workforce strategies that support operational and business goals.
• Coach and develop leaders and associates through performance management, training, and career growth opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment laws, safety requirements, and company standards.
• Drive associate engagement, community involvement, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

• Experience leading HR functions in a distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or high-volume operational environment.
• Knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, associate relations, and workforce management practices.
• Proven ability to coach leaders, resolve complex employee issues, and influence business decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive results.
• Experience managing multiple priorities while building strong partnerships with leaders and associates.

This role is not hybrid nor remote. The selected candidate must reside within ~50 miles of our facility in St. James, Missouri. Relocation assistance is available.

The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00 - $Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field and 2 years HR Generalist experience (e.g., payroll, workers compensation, benefits) with at least one year supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees OR 1 year experience as a Walmart Logistics Human Resources Area Manager or Walmart Human Resources Office Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates;
