Alternate IT Manager

Basic Qualifications:

• Ten (10) or more years of experience managing an IT support staff, with at least 3 YOE in the Korean Peninsula
• Familiarity with DoD IM/IT governance models
• BA/BS Degree in information technology or related discipline
• Certification(s): PMI Project Management Professional (PMP)
• SECRET Clearance

• Fluent in Korean
• DoD 8140 Certified

• Experience in providing guidance and oversight ensuring rapid responsiveness to customer requests for technical support and change requests.
• Provide strategic, next generation system planning and integration to enable senior leader decision making.
• Ensures work, information, ideas, and technology flow freely among the team/section and ensures collaboration with other teams.
• Meets regularly with team members to gather work status, discuss work progress and obstacles.
• Provides advice, guidance, encouragement and constructive feedback.
• Ensures staff has the resources and skills needed to support all work initiatives.
• Establishes measurable individual and team objectives that are aligned with business goals.
• Documents and presents performance assessments and collaborates with staff to create individual development plans.
• Generates appropriate communication, process and educational plans for mitigating the disruption of change.
• Leads and participates in IT workforce deployment activities.
