Cyber Security

2 years of related professional experience in cybersecurity, endpoint security, or similar

2 years of experience working with enterprise-class servers and/or networks

2 years experience in developing new standards and processes for cross-functional teams

Experience successfully navigating and understanding a large corporate environment

Strong self-initiative and ability to create value independently and as part of larger teams

Experience with process improvement and gaining agreement on solutions and changes

The Junior Cybersecurity Analyst on the Hosting Security and Resiliency team provides technical advice, expertise, and documentation that helps our teams effectively analyze the impact of threats and remediation efforts in Met Life’s Hosting environments

This person will be a critical team member responsible for data collection, analysis, and planning of work across multiple work streams simultaneously while identifying and driving improvements for current and future security work

Success in this role is dependent upon building strong partnerships spanning Compute, Storage, Firewall, Audit, Information Security, and Application teams

This role delivers the ability for Met Life to better understand security concerns and respond in a standardized and efficient manner across all departments

Partners with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyze the data, and communicate on how best to approach each unique situation

This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, a solid understanding of cybersecurity procedures and best practices, and self-initiative to deliver on critical timelines and meet commitments

Help create and maintain the processes, documents, and best practices for the development and continuous improvement of all Hosting Services security-related incidents and projects

Participates as part of the larger Hosting Security team as an individual contributor for their area of expertise and provides proactive input as needed to improve our practice
