About

The Role

We are seeking a Vice President of Product to lead the Product and Design organization at Crunchbase, managing a team of 13. This senior leader will be responsible for executing the current strategy while refining the roadmap through customer insights, market awareness, and disciplined decision‑making. The VP of Product will serve as a strategic bridge between the Voice of the Customer (VOC) and Engineering, ensuring that product priorities drive customer value while aligning with technical feasibility.

This leader will bring deep expertise in SaaS, DaaS, API products, AI/ML‑powered solutions, enterprise workflows, and data‑driven platforms. Deep, practical experience with APIs and data integrations is essential for success in this role.

What You’ll Do
  • Execute on Crunchbase’s current product roadmap while applying disciplined analysis to refine and extend it over time.
  • Partner with the CEO, CTO, and executive team to shape overall business and product strategy.
  • Drive customer‑centric product development, ensuring features deliver measurable business impact.
  • Establish and champion product metrics, OKRs, and KPIs to track success and inform prioritization.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch to iteration, ensuring excellence at every stage.
  • Build strong cross‑functional partnerships with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success.
  • Translate market sentiment into product deliverables.
  • Build connective tissue between GTM teams (CS, CX, BD, Sales) and the build teams—engineering and product.
  • Build quick wins for prospects and longer‑term, strategically aligned roadmaps that can be evangelized to customers.
  • Stay ahead of market, SaaS, and AI trends to keep offerings differentiated and competitive.
What We’re Looking For
  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role at a SaaS/DaaS company.
  • Prior experience in Data Sales and DaaS business model.
  • Proven track record of scaling B2B SaaS products across multiple segments (SMB, mid‑market, enterprise).
  • Substantial technical depth to engage meaningfully with engineering and data science teams.
  • Experience with PLG (Product‑Led Growth), subscription/usage pricing models, and customer success alignment.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with comfort using data to drive decisions.
  • Deep understanding of where and how AI adds value as a product differentiator.
