Vice President – Client Growth & Engagement
Location: Bay Area, CA (Hybrid/In-Person Preferred)
Experience: 15+ years in IT Services / Digital Transformation
Reports To: Chief Growth Officer
We are seeking a high-impact Account Leader/Client Partner with deep experience in Digital Transformation, Cloud, and AI‑led consulting to drive client success and growth in the Bay Area region. This role demands a strategic thinker and trusted client partner who can combine business development, account management, and delivery governance to scale enterprise relationships and deliver measurable business outcomes.
The Account Leader will be responsible for owning and expanding strategic client portfolios
, ensuring delivery excellence, and driving year‑over‑year revenue growth through cross‑sell, upsell, and transformation opportunities.
- Serve as the primary executive interface for C‑level stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, Chief Data Officers, Business Unit Heads) within assigned accounts.
- Build and nurture long‑term strategic relationships to position the company as a trusted transformation partner.
- Translate client business priorities into actionable technology roadmaps and strategic engagement plans.
- Lead executive reviews, governance meetings, and joint planning sessions to ensure account health and alignment.
- Drive revenue growth across assigned accounts through proactive farming, whitespace identification, and new opportunity creation.
- Develop and execute a strategic account plan
, focusing on new service lines such as AI, Data, Cloud Modernization, and Digital Engineering
. - Collaborate with practice, solution, and delivery teams to co‑create winning proposals and solution architectures.
- Lead large‑scale renewals, RFP responses, and deal pursuits
, ensuring strong commercial positioning and value articulation. - Own P&L responsibility for assigned accounts, with clear targets for revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive quarterly and annual planning, forecasting, and contract compliance.
- Manage account‑level commercial negotiations, renewals, and margin optimization.
- Lead cross‑functional account teams (sales, delivery, solution architects, operations, and marketing).
- Mentor and guide pursuit managers and client engagement leads to strengthen account performance.
- Foster collaboration between global delivery teams and onsite client stakeholders.
- 15+ years of experience in IT Services / Consulting with a focus on Digital Transformation, Data, Cloud, and AI‑driven initiatives
. - Proven track record in account growth and relationship management with Fortune 1000 clients in the U.S.
- Strong background in Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and AI/ML adoption programs.
- Deep understanding of Data Engineering, Analytics, and Modern Application Services
. - Prior experience in P&L management
, contract governance
, and commercial negotiations
. - Demonstrated success in cross‑selling / upselling and scaling revenue from existing clients.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence skills.
- Prior experience managing large global accounts within Retail, Healthcare, Hi‑Tech, Manufacturing sectors.
- Exposure to hyperscaler ecosystems (Microsoft) and partner‑led go‑to‑market models.
