Position: Sr. Consultant - Data and AI (Infor M3 and Birst)
Location: California

We are looking for an experienced and client-focused Senior Consultant with strong expertise in M3 data structures, data modeling, Infor M3 Analytics and Birst to join our Data & AI team. This role involves working directly with clients to assess needs, implement solutions, and optimize reporting environments. You will lead engagements involving the design, configuration, implementation, and enhancement of analytics solutions within the Infor ecosystem, delivering measurable value to business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver client-facing engagements centered on M3 Analytics and Birst reporting solutions.
  • Configure, design, develop and customize robust, scalable data models and dashboards using Infor Birst, aligned with M3 Analytics and other data sources to meet client business requirements.
  • Act as the technical lead for analytics projects involving Infor M3 Cloud Suite, the Infor Data Lake, and third-party integrations.
  • Build and optimize Birst spaces, data models, dashboards, and reports that support key business processes (e.g., finance, supply chain, manufacturing, inventory).
  • Leverage and customize prebuilt M3 Analytics content to suit business-specific KPIs and reporting requirements.
  • Advise clients on best practices for Infor M3 Analytics integration, governance, and usage.
  • Perform data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and performance tuning for Birst-based reporting environments.
  • Leverage M3 Cloud Suite data and the Infor Data Lake to create actionable reports and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Troubleshoot complex analytics issues and ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Support project delivery by preparing documentation, training users, and contributing to deployment plans.
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
  • Assist in pre-sales efforts including client assessments, proposals, and solution demos.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise data and analytics projects, including 3+ years with Infor M3 and Birst.
  • Strong understanding of Infor M3 Cloud Suite modules and Birst architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Birst space design, Automated Data Refinement (ADR), and data blending.
  • Proficient in SQL and data transformation logic involving M3 and external sources.
  • Familiarity with Infor ION, Data Lake, and integration patterns.
  • Excellent communication, client engagement, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects concurrently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with M3 Analytics Foundation or Infor OS.
  • Exposure to supply chain, manufacturing, or food & beverage industry data models.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Experience with in Microsoft Dynamics Ecosystem
  • Familiarity with modern cloud analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Azure Synapse, or Microsoft Fabric.
