Location: Hybrid - Beverly Hills, CA (3 days in-office / 2 days remote)
Travel: Initial training in Germany after hire, plus 3–4 trips to Germany per year
Eventim operates one of the world’s largest ticketing platforms, delivering seamless experiences during some of the most high‑traffic events on the planet. As we are supporting the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games and other major global on‑sales as a ticketing partner, we are expanding our Site Reliability Engineering and Dev Ops capabilities.
We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability / Dev Ops Engineer who thrives in mission‑critical environments and embraces the “you build it, you run it” mindset. In this role, you will shape reliability strategy, drive automation, and partner with engineering teams worldwide to ensure our systems perform flawlessly when millions of fans compete for tickets in real time.

What You’ll Do- Architect and operate secure, scalable infrastructure supporting high‑traffic on‑sale events with zero‑tolerance downtime.
- Automate workflows using CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible/Salt Stack, and Git Lab pipelines.
- Manage production environments:
Linux, Windows, VMware, Proxmox, MSSQL, Maria
DB, AWS/Kubernetes. - Optimize F5 load balancing, NGINX, caching layers (Memcached, Redis), and web servers (Apache, Wild Fly, Tomcat).
- Implement monitoring and alerting with Grafana and Zabbix for proactive issue detection.
- Troubleshoot high‑impact incidents and conduct blameless post‑mortems to drive continuous improvement.
- Perform and improve regularly scheduled maintenance.
- Promote knowledge sharing through Communities of Practice and cross‑team engagement.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional, cross‑cultural teams across continents on Dev Ops best practices.
- Participate in rotating on‑call operations and maintain operational runbooks.
- 7–9 years operating highly available, high‑performance Linux environments
- Expert proficiency with Ansible/Salt Stack, Terraform, CI/CD, Git/Git Lab
- Strong scripting in Bash and Python
- Production experience with VMware, Proxmox, MSSQL, Maria
DB, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS - Deep knowledge of networking, security, F5 load balancing, and caching solutions
- Hands‑on experience with Grafana, Zabbix, and observability tools
- SQL proficiency and infrastructure modernization experience
- Strong analytical skills, passion for problem‑solving, and excellent cross‑cultural communication
- Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally
