This Position reports to:

Business Manager HVAC

In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

The work model for the role is: remote in the CA area (#Li-Remote) with 60% estimated travel.

Your role and responsibilities
  • Drives sales volume and profitability by promoting building automation (HVAC control) solutions to customers and system integrators, aligned with business targets.
  • Builds strong customer relationships to understand needs, deliver tailored solutions, and ensure a positive experience throughout the sales cycle.
  • Executes strategic sales plans using tools like Salesforce, monitors performance, and implements recovery strategies to meet order goals.
  • Identifies new market opportunities and leads cross-functional collaboration to introduce ABB solutions in competitive, established markets.
  • Manages offer preparation and administration
    , ensuring technical and financial accuracy, while supporting marketing activities and project execution.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree or Technical diploma
  • 7+ years of experience in HVAC Control and Building Automation sales and U.S. market expertise and a strong ability to communicate the value of energy efficiency solutions.
  • Technically proficient in BAS protocols including BACnet, KNX, Modbus, and TCP/IP, with a track record of developing effective channel strategies for system integrators.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator, skilled in customer engagement, handling complex discussions, and working cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $79,800 and $127,680 annually and is bonus eligible.
