Clinical System Analyst

We are supporting a leading academic medical enterprise known for delivering advanced clinical care, pioneering research, and comprehensive medical education. With a strong reputation for innovation and excellence, the organization operates multiple hospitals, specialty clinics, and training programs that serve a diverse patient population across the region.

We’re seeking a Clinical Information Systems Analyst II to support and enhance key clinical applications used across our medical enterprise. In this role, you will work closely with clinical teams, operations, and vendors to implement, maintain, and optimize systems such as lab, radiology, pharmacy, nursing, and physician‑access applications. You will play a hands‑on role in system analysis, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and workflow improvement initiatives.

This position requires strong communication skills, solid problem‑solving abilities, and a customer‑focused mindset. The role also participates in an on‑call rotation to support critical systems.

• Provide 1st and 2nd level support for assigned clinical applications
• Implement, test, and maintain system enhancements, upgrades, and new features
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues and improve system performance
• Analyze workflows and recommend process or system improvements
• Support interfaces and data exchanges between clinical systems
• Create and maintain user documentation
• Train end users and provide help desk support
• Contribute to project work, change management, and requirements gathering
• Maintain system procedures and protocols

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical application support, implementation, or testing
• Healthcare experience required
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate technical information into clear business language
• Strong documentation and workflow analysis abilities
