Role Overview

The Lead Technical Program/Project Manager is responsible for identifying, planning, and coordinating multiple interconnected work streams across a broader program. This role ensures alignment across projects, manages interdependencies, and drives delivery in support of strategic business objectives within a complex technology portfolio. The position works closely with Technology, Product, and Design teams to oversee technical project management, financial oversight, and program execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex, multi-workstream project plans, enabling smooth collaboration across cross-functional teams.
  • Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment, and consistent communication.
  • Leverage user analytics and insights to guide project decisions and prioritization.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings, promoting alignment, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, prioritization plans, and adherence to program operating guidelines.
  • Support product owners in developing outcome-based roadmaps tied to strategic goals.
  • Encourage critical thinking, innovation, and continuous improvement across project work streams.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage financial plans associated with project delivery.
  • Analyze and explain variances in scope, schedule, and cost, providing clear cause-of-change assessments.
  • Maintain a holistic view of resource demand and capacity across projects, partnering with leadership to ensure balanced allocation.
  • Translate financial objectives and data into clear narratives for leaders, Finance, Sourcing, and other business partners.
  • Manage working relationships from team level through executive level, tailoring communication and reporting to each audience.
  • Ensure successful delivery of expected project outcomes.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of project management experience supporting technical teams delivering enterprise-level solutions.
  • Background working alongside technology, creative, and user experience teams.
  • Experience managing budgets, financial tracking, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Ability to develop complex forecasts and capacity plans while communicating risks and dependencies effectively.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile, Lean, Kanban, or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of technical architecture and project-level technical considerations.
  • Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present at an executive level.
  • Experience working collaboratively with leadership while driving execution forward.
  • Advanced expertise in Agile lifecycle tools such as Jira and Confluence (Jira proficiency is required).
  • Understanding of Agile at Scale frameworks (e.g., SAFe).
  • Experience coaching and mentoring teams on project management best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing technology transformation work streams, moving processes from current state to future state.
  • Background leading large-scale product migrations from “as-is” to “to-be.”
  • Experience with complex consumer products (e.g., ticketing or packaged offerings) is a plus.
Work Environment & Certifications
  • Comfortable working in a highly matrixed environment with multiple stakeholder groups across different geographic regions.
  • One or more relevant certifications:
  • PMP
  • Agile certifications (CSM, ACP, CSPO, SAFe, LeSS)
  • Ability to work onsite in Orlando as needed (preferred but not mandatory).
