Are you passionate about bridging the gap between business needs and innovative technology solutions? We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Business Analyst to join a dynamic team. In this role, you’ll analyse business processes, gather requirements, and provide data-driven insights to support smarter decision-making and improved operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
  • Document and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Business Process Improvement:

  • Evaluate current processes to identify gaps and areas for optimization.
  • Recommend and document improved workflows that align with business goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.

Project Support:

  • Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and third-party vendors.
  • Define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Support testing efforts, including UAT and test case development.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyse data to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Develop reports and dashboards that support informed decision-making.
  • Promote data governance and accuracy.

AI and Technology Alignment:

  • Identify opportunities to integrate AI and analytics tools into business processes.
  • Collaborate with leadership on evaluating and implementing new technologies.
  • Stay abreast of emerging tech trends.

Documentation and Training:

  • Maintain detailed documentation of systems, processes, and requirements.
  • Create user manuals and training materials.
  • Provide training and support to end-users.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Agile methodologies (advantageous).

Experience:

  • 5–7 years in a Business Analyst role, ideally within insurance or financial services.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering business and technology solutions.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in business analysis tools and techniques.
  • Familiar with AI applications and data analytics platforms.
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and projects.
