Cloud Architect

Join West Monroe as a Cloud Architect, leading cross‑functional teams to design, engineer, and deploy cloud & IT infrastructure solutions for high‑impact clients in industries such as Healthcare, Financial Services, Private Equity, Energy & Utilities, and High‑Tech.

• Collaborate with consultants and client leadership to architect, build, and deploy secure cloud solutions that improve business operations.
• Assess current processes and environments, interview stakeholders, gather requirements, and recommend solutions.
• Establish and enforce cloud architecture standards, best practices, and governance.
• Design Cloud landing zones and deploy client workloads on the landing zone.
• Develop migration plans and strategies to optimize or enhance cloud services, applications, IT systems, networking, and cybersecurity posture.
• Support analysis for key decisions regarding project direction, cloud service selection, and methodology.
• Lead implementation of Infrastructure as Code, automated deployments, and cloud cost optimization.
• Assist with proposals, pre‑sales technical discovery, and client presentations.
• Coach junior consultants on cloud computing best practices and client engagement.
• Contribute to practice development and Center of Excellence meetings.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5–10+ years of experience in an IT architecture/engineering role covering cloud computing, virtualization, or networking.
• Experience leading AWS, Azure, and/or GCP on‑prem to cloud migration projects.
• Proficiency with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, and/or ARM templates.
• Experience with Dev Ops tools and practices for automated build, test, deployment, and monitoring within cloud environments.
• Strong communication, presentation, and team leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements.
• Bonus:
