IT Support, Systems Administrator

This role oversees day‑to‑day onsite technical support and technology operations for a professional services environment, ensuring smooth and consistent experiences for all users. The position involves leading support teams, managing technology assets, and working closely with other IT groups to strengthen systems and service delivery.
Base Pay Range$/yr - $/yr
Key Responsibilities- Direct and mentor the onsite support staff, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and effectively
- Oversee deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software to maintain a reliable user environment
- Create and refine standard procedures for device imaging, configuration, and equipment handling
- Track support metrics and service patterns, identifying opportunities to improve workflow and responsiveness
- Provide hands‑on technical assistance when needed
- Train staff on technology usage, customer service, and best practices
- Collaborate with IT leadership and partner teams—such as infrastructure, help desk, and training—to align local operations with broader organizational objectives
- Manage inventory and the full lifecycle of technology assets, including computers, peripherals, AV equipment, and related systems
- Participate in technology rollouts and departmental initiatives, contributing to planning and implementation
- Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology‑related field preferred
- At least five years of progressive experience supporting users in an enterprise client‑server environment
- Minimum of three years of experience managing technical support teams
- Experience in a legal or other high‑performance professional services setting is strongly preferred
- Extensive experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with email platforms and document management tools commonly used in professional environments
- Strong hardware troubleshooting skills across laptops, desktops, and printers
- Solid understanding of IT systems, workflows, and service models typical of professional services organizations
- Experience using ticketing or service management systems to track requests and measure performance
- Discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to lift 50–75 pounds when required
The anticipated base salary range for this full‑time position is $120,000–$150,000
, with actual compensation dependent on experience, skills, and location. Compensation ranges may be adjusted based on internal and external business factors.
