Scrum Master

Summary

Our client is seeking a Scrum Master with a proven track record of success supporting complex technology projects; a servant leader who can enable teams to work effectively to deliver on priorities. Candidates must have strong analytical and project management skills to ensure program metrics and deliverables are monitored and communicated proactively to program leadership and stakeholders.

• Enact Agile/Scrum principles as the Scrum Master on projects and programs in partnership with other Scrum Masters, the development team, product Owner, business analyst, and project leadership.
• Guide the team in prioritizing work based on knowledge of customer requirements, project schedule, and various dependencies.
• Facilitate various Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint planning.
• Maintain roadmaps, milestones, risks, and deadlines for deliverables and proactively communicate progress to project leadership.
• Provide clear and regular visibility and transparency to project leadership and stakeholders on progress and status.
• Work with stakeholders to identify, develop, and maintain key program metrics.
• Facilitate brainstorming sessions with the team to generate solutions that address challenges and roadblocks, delivering value to customers.
• Interact frequently with internal and external project sponsors, stakeholders, project teams, and peers to facilitate, direct, and influence project teams in building, navigating, and maintaining collaborative customer and stakeholder relationships.

• 3+ years of experience as the Scrum Master on projects and programs in partnership with other Scrum Masters, the Development Team, Product Owner, Business Analyst, and Project Leadership.
• Experience facilitating various Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, retro discussions, and sprint planning.
• Experience in maintaining roadmaps, milestones, risks, and deadlines for deliverables and proactively communicating progress to project leadership.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to articulate and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
• Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead through influence.
• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or other related certifications.
