The Employment Development Department (EDD) is looking for a highly motivated and qualified individual to work in the Application Development & Support Section (ADSS). The Application Architect/Senior Developer will be responsible for highly visible, major software projects involving both business and technical staff, system integrators and product vendor staff. The candidate will participate in all aspects of the project lifecycle for both custom build and SaaS product implementation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain application solutions using custom .NET development and SaaS products.
- Collaborate with business, technical, and vendor partners to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Prioritize multiple projects and meet competing deadlines.
- Ensure high quality, secure, and scalable application architecture.
- Document architecture designs and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Minimum 5 years of software development and application architecture experience with custom .NET and SaaS products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
