Under the supervision of the Leadership Development & Design Manager, this role is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, analyzing, and delivering high-quality eLearning and instructor-led training across the DMV.
You will play a key role in supporting DMV’s enterprise Learning Management System, DMV University (DMV U), while providing consultative services to department program areas and facilitating learning through a variety of innovative methods.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deliver engaging eLearning content in DMV U
- Evaluate organizational training needs and align learning solutions with departmental goals
- Review and improve departmental training functions and processes
- Facilitate training in-person and virtually using innovative instructional approaches
- Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards
- Strong verbal presentation, writing, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in instructional design, content development, and adult learning methodologies
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Strong working knowledge of the ADDIE model
- Experience developing eLearning using tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Canva, or similar authoring tools
- Experience facilitating training both in-person and virtually
- Ability to research, analyze, and develop effective course content
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and personal computer applications
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with staff and management
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
