Database Administration

• Assist with the assessment and documentation of existing SQL Server environments.
• Support database migration efforts including backup/restore, scripting, data transfers, and validation.
• Perform routine health checks and troubleshooting during and after migrations.
• Collaborate with senior DBAs, infrastructure, and application teams.
• Execute test migrations and contribute to performance tuning and optimization.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and minimal application impact throughout the process.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and security compliance throughout the migration process.
• Maintain documentation and support incident resolution post-migration.

• Good communication and documentation capabilities.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented setting.
• Ability to follow directions while also taking initiative when needed.
