Position SummaryThe experienced Sr. Applications Analyst for UKG Pro and WFM is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems applications to support departmental and end user needs. The senior analyst is responsible for production support including application operations, enhancements/incidents, configurations and development. The senior analyst will be responsible for developing, configuring, and delivering effective UKG Pro and WFM specific solutions for HR and Payroll departments.
This role works closely with IT Support Teams to ensure strong partnerships and alignment between business needs and application solutions.
- Serve as the liaison between client HR and Finance teams to understand business practice and processes and to ensure business needs and system requirements align
- Work with HR/Payroll and Technical Teams for requirements gathering (integration) and prepare functional documentation
- Perform system Gap analysis and recommend solutions
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain UKG Pro and WFM integrations.
- Responsible for production support of UKG Pro and WFM/Dimensions and Kronos WFC (Workforce Central) applications, its integrations and customizations ensuring responsiveness to customer requests and quality of work.
- Responsible for functional design, configuration and support of applications with a primary focus within UKG Pro and WFM/Kronos WFC HR and Time and Attendance domain
- Evaluates system application needs of operating department users and makes recommendations on solutions
- Develops, tests, and modifies internal applications systems, databases and operational environments
- Designs applications, modules, and/or approaches, and application configurations as required
- Designs Dashboards through UKG BI reporting and Analytics
- Prepares test data, codes, reviews, tests, debugs and manages implementation of system application building
- Reviews, revises and updates program configuration as required
- Ensures that documentation is created for all systems applications designed or modified
- Maintains technology expertise, keeping current with evolving systems applications analysis, programming and database technology
- Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that promotes a favorable working relationship with customers, vendors, co‑workers and management
- Owns their portfolio of solutions by keeping abreast of enhancements, patches, and upgrades and ensuring that these are communicated to leadership and implemented timely
- Ensures that timekeeping devices are properly functioning and firmware updates are completed
- Create documentation and training material to support end user experience
- Implement audit tools that support compliance and quality data management
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required. - Qualifications/
Experience:
Four (4) years of experience as an application analyst required. - At least 3 years of experience with UKG Pro (Ultipro) and WFM Dimensions functional and technical areas like HR, Payroll, Timekeeping, Scheduling, Mobile App and System configuration.
- Strong office skills as well as interpersonal skills will be considered.
- Special Skills/Knowledge: UKG Pro Power BI Report Development experience required.
- UKG WFM Reporting and integration experience required.
- SQL experience preferred.
- Experience on migration from WFC HR and WFC Payroll and Timekeeping to UKG PRO and WFD.
- Experience working on various modules of Kronos and Dimensions (Attestation, Analytics, Accruals, Extensions etc.) is a must.
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and multi‑tasking skills.
- Strong work ethic, team and customer service orientation, proven dependability and promptness.
- Familiar with relational databases and client‑server concepts.
