Scrum Master, IT Project Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to support customer technology initiatives within the IT Department. Contractors will apply SAFe principles to organize work, lead up to three Agile teams, and ensure delivery of high-quality technical solutions aligned with organizational standards. Responsibilities include facilitating all Scrum ceremonies, participating in Program Increment (PI) planning, managing team backlogs, and promoting Agile practices across the organization.
Job Title: Agile Scrum Master
Remote: 100% remote; meetings between 8 AM – 5 PM PT.
Pay Range: $65/hr
Key Responsibilities- Lead Scrum teams through ceremonies and PI planning.
- Remove impediments and shield teams from distractions.
- Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog refinement.
- Track and communicate team progress and metrics.
- Foster continuous improvement and Agile maturity.
- Scrum Master Certification.
- 3+ years as Scrum Master using SAFe.
- Experience with Jira and Align for backlog, sprint planning, and reporting.
- Skilled in Agile principles, impediment resolution, and team coaching.
- Experience in utilities or public sector.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- 3+ years’ experience with Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Agile tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Strong written and verbal communication required.
