Database Administrator – PMW 160

The Database Administrator for Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I), PMW 160 will support production baselines through database administration utilizing the Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) Tool CMPRO to support software baselines. The role gathers, analyzes, and verifies data on existing enterprise platforms, locations, hardware, software, and documentation for entry into the configuration management system (CMPRO) for establishment or update of baselines in accordance with PMW 160 Configuration Management Plan (CMP).
Responsibilities- Support the government's CM program and assist the lead CMS in developing, reviewing, and maintaining the PLM Tool CMPRO.
- Assist the lead CMS with product structure/configuration hierarchy definition and maintain configuration baselines (Functional, Allocated, Product, As-Installed).
- Manage user accounts within the PLM Tool CMPRO.
- Work with NIWC Network Administrators to resolve system/network problems and provide updates and bug fixes to the website with associated CM implementation.
- Test and integrate vendor application updates prior to installation/implementation in the Production instance.
- Review, update, and provide CM process training to contractor and government personnel as required.
- Establish complete baselines for hardware and software and display the information via the CM data repository.
- Support the government's Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) process and procedures.
- Provide weekly status updates and monthly activity reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Information Technology related. Years of experience in lieu of degree will be reviewed.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have an Active Secret clearance to start.
- 4+ years of experience in performing Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, and Configuration Audits.
Desired Skills
- Software Configuration Management experience is a plus.
- Database Administration experience is a plus.
- Prior experience with PMW 160 or other NAVWAR organizations.
- Familiarity with the use of CMPro, JIRA, and Confluence.
- CMPIC certification is a plus.
Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
