• Analyze information security practices to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Identify, investigate, and resolve security breaches detected by security solutions
• Develop and maintain policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures for information security
• Conduct staff training on information security best practices and breach prevention
• Collaborate with IT, compliance, and business units to align security with organizational goals

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of eight years of professional-level IT experience, including three years in information security within a healthcare environment
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
• Proficiency in monitoring and responding to security incidents using SIEM tools
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• CISSP or CISM certification
• Experience with vulnerability assessments and incident response
• Familiarity with computer network penetration testing and security systems
• Ability to develop training materials and conduct effective staff training
• Knowledge of emerging cyber threats and best practices
