The Biz Ops Core Payments Consultant will focus on the Protect and Enable pillars in Biz Ops for several platforms including HP Non-Stop, zOS, Java on Mainframe and Distributed for Core Payments services and functions. Initial focus will be on HP Non-Stop production readiness, automation and improvements.
Role
o Takes focus on specific areas of Business Operations for a platform
o Responsible for coordinating with one or more groups to ensure platform goals are met
o Develops plans to improve quality on a group of applications of a platform
o Ensures platform procedures interact with other related systems
o Researches new methodologies to improve Business Operations
o Coaches junior level employees on Business Operations best practices
All About You
o Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
o Experience in application development life cycles and how it integrates with operations.
o Successful track record in supporting a production application.
o Experience in working across development, operations, and product teams to prioritize needs and to build relationships.
o Experience in leading complex cross-functional projects, teams or committees
o Experience in making sound, commercially-minded business decisions that are guided by Master Card's values
o Experience in SAFe (agile) transformations to support the Technology Business Management practice.
o Strong experience in transaction switching middleware and HP Non-Stop architecture
