Salary:
Analyst II $6,031.00–$7,547.00 per month;
Analyst I $3,861.00–$4,839.00 (Class
A), $4,181.00–$5,233.00 (Class
B), or $5,014.00–$6,276.00 (Class
C). New‑to‑State candidates are hired at the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of the alternate range, whichever is higher.

Analyst II
. Under the direction of the Supervisor I, Statewide Mental Health Program (SMHP), the Mental Health Change Support and Improvement (CSI) Analyst II performs complex analytical duties related to the research, development, implementation and monitoring of the SMHP CSI team functions.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting advanced data analysis, producing reports and recommendations for program improvement.
- Monitoring and responding to issues arising from the Coleman Lawsuit and related mandates.
- Collaborating with statewide partners to support continuous quality improvement.
- Managing a portfolio of analytical projects and ensuring timely completion.
- Travel may be required statewide.
Analyst I. Under the supervision of the Supervisor I, SMHP, the CSI Analyst I performs less complex analytical duties.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with data collection, processing and basic analysis for program evaluation.
- Supporting monitoring of the Coleman Lawsuit and related mandates.
- Providing administrative support to the CSI team.
- Travel may be required statewide.
Location:
Headquarters, 8280 Longleaf Drive, Bldg. D‑1, Suite 101, Elk Grove, CA 95758. The office offers free parking and a campus‑style environment.
Telework:
Eligible for remote‑centered work in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy; in‑office attendance as required.
Travel:
Roughly 5% of the time to institutions across the state.
- Applicable minimum qualifications as described in the Class Specification.
- One open position for each classification (Analyst II and Analyst I).
