Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract-to-hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas. We are currently looking for a Platform Engineer specializing in Cloud Security to join our team. This hands-on role will address encryption and infrastructure security gaps across cloud services, applications, and containerized environments.
Responsibilities- Implement encryption-at-rest controls across cloud and service infrastructure.
- Design and implement encryption-in-transit solutions.
- Support key management and key rotation initiatives.
- Develop, modify, and test application and infrastructure code.
- Build and deploy encryption-related security enhancements.
- Improve logging, monitoring, and supporting security controls.
- Work within cloud-native, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
- Support deployment and automation efforts across multiple platforms.
- Hands-on cloud infrastructure engineering and infrastructure security experience.
- Experience implementing encryption at rest and encryption in transit.
- Knowledge of PKI, key management, and AWS Key Management Service.
- Experience working with Kubernetes and Linux environments.
- Experience using Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
- Programming experience with Python, Scala, or Type Script.
- Ability to develop, modify, and test production application or infrastructure code.
- Experience working within CI/CD environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud security and infrastructure security best practices.
- Strong AWS cloud infrastructure experience.
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience supporting both public and private cloud environments.
- Experience automating security controls across large or complex cloud platforms.
