Account Services Director, Marine
Arch Insurance Group Inc. is seeking an Account Services Director, Marine to manage a portfolio of marine accounts, ensuring service delivery, compliance, and business growth.
Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate service delivery on assigned account portfolio and achieve targets with direct impact on stakeholder results.
- Serve as Key Point of Contact for internal business partners and other stakeholders involved in the account.
- Provide a differentiated customer service experience to servicing brokers through regular interactions.
- Handle complex tasks or escalated issues including account review and analysis, policy issuance, rating preparation, billing, audit questions, CRITs resolution, etc.
- Lead and support less experienced Underwriting Operations team members, including problem resolution, work distribution, training and quality assurance.
- Develop strong relationships with key partners such as Underwriters, Operations, Global Service Operations, IT, and others.
- Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards and maintain account files and documentation.
- Participate in projects as needed.
- Commercial Account Manager experience or prior relevant insurance industry experience (multi-line, admitted commercial P&C experience highly desired).
- Demonstrated expertise in Workers Compensation, Auto, General Liability, Property, Umbrella, Excess Liability.
- Strong customer service orientation with an ability to operationalize customer needs.
- Self‑motivated, action‑focused, and able to manage competing demands.
- Strong ability to develop and nurture relationships with key partners (Underwriters, Operations, Global Service Operations, IT, etc.).
- Effective communication skills—written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Smartsheet, Image Right, other insurance platforms desired (Policy Writer, Policy Decisions, other insurance policy issuance platforms).
- 5+ years of experience working in commercial lines insurance.
- Bachelor’s degree (work experience may substitute for education requirement).
- Insurance certification/designation is a plus.
$71,900.00/yr - $97,100.00/yr
